Fiverr is a website where people can advertise micro jobs they will do for only five dollars. Is Fiverr worth trying?
The website was created by Israeli Internet entrepreneurs, Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger. They realized that many people no longer want the daily grind of the 9-5 job, and are looking for other ways to make money. More and more people are choosing to become self-employed and doing freelance work is becoming increasingly popular. Added to that, many small or newly started businesses, often do not have the time, skill or resources to do some of the more mundane jobs required to keep their businesses functioning. Fiverr provides a way of bringing freelancers, or microworkers, and their potential clients together. Fiverr was launched in February 2010, and within it’s first year was hosting over 500,000 gigs. Although Fiverr has a serious side, it has it’s fun side too, with some people offering to do very bizarre things for a Fiver!
The great thing about fiverr is it cost nothing to post your gigs. The only charge is $1 once a gig has been performed. There is no price negotiating, everything offered on Fiverr always costs a fiver.
Besides fiverr is a way to make money online and is close to getting a job online, In a nutshell, fiverr is 2 things:
- Fiverr is a place where you can get hired and paid to do something for $5
